FERS Workshop Options

Our presentation style adapts to how your employees learn best. Below are a few ways we can plan a FERS workshop for your employees.

Live, in-person workshops:

If your employees are back in the office and you’d like to provide valuable information in a live session, this is, in our opinion, the optimum setting. Employees are more likely to ask their questions and often benefit from the questions of others that they don’t think to ask. Participants have direct access to the presenter if they want to ask a personal question.

Virtual workshops:

At Federal Benefits Made Simple, we’ve mastered the ways of the virtual presentation. Our live virtual workshop can be held either as the full, 7-hour session, as if you are in person, or as two, 3 1/2 hour sessions split across two days. You can plan for two morning or afternoon sessions on consecutive days, or a morning on Day One and an afternoon on Day Two. Hourly breaks are included in all sessions.

If your agency has employees in multiple locations, this option may work best for you. Workshop materials are emailed directly to participants.

Hybrid - In-person/virtual workshop:

Your agency may include employees who wish to attend in person with others attending virtually. The hybrid session provides for both allowing employees to attend the in-person, live session while being offered simultaneously to those who wish to attend virtually. Those attending virtually benefit from the live interaction while also getting their specific questions answered. If you have employees who learn best in person, this is a great way to satisfy the needs of many employees while offering workshops at multiple locations. Workshop materials are mailed to the agency for those attending in person and emailed directly to virtual participants.
